Morini gets fresh air

 

Moto Morini 350 sports are small bikes, but their handling is great. Nice to ride around with on small roads on the winding river dikes.

Cylinder heads

Next step: cylinder heads.

Moto Morini 350's have a Heron head, which means the combustion chamber is located in the top of the pistons, which gives a flat cylinder head.

Next step is to put the cylinders in place.

Easy

Well, that was easy. Now I can put the whole thing together.

New pistonrings.

Finally got the new pistonrings. I have to make them about 0,1mm smaller before they fit.

Hope they don't break.......

Careful!

Always be careful with the pistonrings, because they tend to break easy!

Now I have to wait for the replacement rings to arrive. Original set of rings cost 69 euro per cilinder (have 2 cilinders). After market rings cost 20 per cilinder. That is an easy choice, but I have to make them fit.
